A part of my Seashore Collection, these starfish studs are perfect. 
Made from silver metal clay they have been allowed to dry and then sanded to refine the design. Once sanded and dry they are fired in my kiln to leave 99.9% fine silver. After an initial polish in my tumbler I use a liver of sulphur solution to patina the starfish and bring out the detail by polishing back. Sterling silver earring posts have been soldered to the back and they fasten with a scroll back.
