So much going on....

Oh wow over a month since I last blogged, thats so bad sorry. But there has been so much going on.

I am in my final term of my Silver Clay Diploma with Jewellers Academy and this term is a series of masterclasses and I am having so much fun and learnt so much. I am now much more confident with my enamelling so expect to see that in some of my work. This cute owl was made from a masterclass with the amazing Joy Funnell.

I have also made a piece of jewellery from a class by Anna Mazon. This was very fiddly and very tiny but again so many things learned from a skilled artist.

The picture is not the best but I hope you get the idea,

The highlight of May was going to Sinter. 5 days completely immersed in the world of silver clay. I went to 10 different presentations about so many different things such as making hinges and how to approach designing work and using inlay. So many ideas my little head is swirling.

The confrence lasted 3 days and the final 2 days werespent doing a workshop with Grainne Reynolds from Times to Treasure. She showed us how to make her mouse in a locket pendant and by heck I love it.

I have written a tutorial for Bead Magazine and they have asked me to do another one which I am doing at the moment. My silver clay workshops are doing really well with the one in July sold out. Watch this space though as more will be added soon.

Finally I have been a bit slow advertising fdathers's Day which is next weekend . If you are still struggling for that gift for the special man in your life then look no further. I have some cufflinks available to buy on my website now. Grab them before they are gone.

I have to go now - I have a Christening to go to today. Have a lovely Sunday.
