Not that you would know it but summer holidays are literally just around the corner. Schools break up this week I think (I have lost track now my kids are out of school). I know I have mentioned it already but Christmas planning is in full swing for me. Some of you may remember me mentioning that I have a pop up stall at Ideal Home in London on November 30th . This means I have to up the ante a bit and get making. I have some amazing ideas for a new collection so watch this space.
I am in the process of sorting out the workshops later in the year. I have changed one of them - the September and November workshop will be silver clay earring workshops.
These photos show you some examples of what you can make. I will supply a whole bunch of moulds and textures and cutting tools and you can just let loose and have fun.
Soldering is also included in the workshop so you can make studs or dangly earrings and this will be suitable for beginners as well as those with previous experience. I will also bring my moulding compound with me so if you have something you want to make a mould of and use to make jewellery you can.
The workshop includes all the tools you need and 10g of clay. depending on the size of the earrings you make you should leave with 2 or 3 pairs ready to wear.
Places will be limited to 6 and the cost is £125. The workshop will be held at Westgate Galleria in Westgate-on-Sea and is bound to be very popular so keep your eye on my website to reserve your place.
